Qatar Airways has updated its coronavirus PCR test rules for 13 countries.
Travellers from these countries will no longer need to present a negative test result before departure.
You may still need a negative test result if required by your destination or transit country.
The new rules apply to the following countries effective immediately:
You can keep up to date with all the latest travel and entry requirement information on the Qatar Airways website by clicking here.
The handy tool shows you all the entry requirements for your destination based on where you’re travelling from and transiting through, as well as your citizenship.
Currently, only citizens and residents are allowed to enter Qatar, and must obtain an exceptional entry permit to return.
Those who have left the country since November 27 are able to get one automatically by following these steps (click here), while anyone who left before then must apply through the Qatar Portal.
Anyone travelling from a red zone country will be expected to quarantine in a hotel for a week, while those arriving from a green zone country can self isolate at home.
You can find the latest green list by clicking here.
Those who have been fully vaccinated in Qatar (i.e., have waited at least two weeks after their second vaccine dose to return) are exempt from quarantine.
The exemption will continue to apply for six months after being fully vaccinated.
